About Hovhannes Nikoghosyan
Hovhannes Nikoghosyan is the Executive Director of the Armenian Spiritual Revival Foundation, an organization whose mission is to transform modern approaches to mental health recovery in post-crisis situations by creating “spiritual-psychological” solutions. The foundation was established by Dr. Noubar Afeyan in partnership with the Armenian Apostolic Church. As a political science scholar, Nikoghosyan has been a Visiting Fellow with the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC, the Magdalena Yesil Visiting Scholar at Sanford School of Public Policy, and Duke University (Durham, NC). He has completed an Advanced Certificate Program at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and Tufts University (Medford, MA). From 2010 to 2018 he worked at the Office of the President of the Republic of Armenia and from 2017 to 2018, became the Aide to the President. He is a graduate of the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University with an MA in International Relations and a Ph.D. in Political Science (2011). He has authored a number of peer-reviewed papers and expert reports published in Armenia and abroad.
