The Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, a nonprofit that seeks to address urgent humanitarian challenges around the world, launched a first-of-its-kind human rights and humanitarian forum in May, in partnership with the Promise Institute for Human Rights at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
The program provides a platform for the world’s leading humanitarians to convene for a series of insightful discussions about the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Noubar Afeyan, Co-Founder and Chair of the Aurora Board of Directors, launched the forum.
The 2024 Aurora Events, including the 2024 Aurora Prize Ceremony, were held on May 8-10 in Los Angeles, California.
