Gurumiran was created by Lebanese Armenian artist and musician Miran Gurunian, who relocated to Yerevan from Beirut after the COVID-19 pandemic and port explosion in 2020. Miran says his creations are inspired by his diverse cultural influences, and since his band’s debut in 2015, Gurumiran has made music in Armenian, English, Arabic, and French. The band’s newest album, “Notes from Underground,” will be released next year.
